Members who have
attended our Annual Quiz usually come back for more. We play as teams so
don't be afraid of the dreaded mental block. Oh yes, and please
bring along food for the spread. There will be prizes. Come and
extend your circle of friends and enjoy a pleasant evening.

British Mammals Jon Trail of the Yorkshire
Wildlife Trust continues with his series of meetings on wildlife. Jon's
last meeting on the Harvest Mouse was a great success and this one is sure
to be the same.

- Wood Working Party Working from 2pm to 4pm,
meet at the entrance near the notice board for tree planting and other
tasks.
Sunday 14th March 2004
- WARCS Annual Clean Up Starting at 10am at Welton.
We were few in number last year and we did not finish the task so if you
can, PLEASE help. There is parking at the top of Chapel Hill and on
Holly Hill (Straight on past the pond), making our way to Ferriby.
We have gloves, picking up sticks and bags. We shall take the
rubbish to the tip and recycle whatever possible.

2004 - Birding at Far Ings Reserve This Nature
Reserve with it's Visitor Centre and Hides is just on the other side of
the Humber Bridge and to the right. Not forgetting that to turn
right one has to leave the main road on the right and go up to the
roundabout. No dogs on this one sadly. Assemble at 11:00 am.

A Speaker from 'The Deep' A speaker from
this well known local attraction will tell us more about the Deep
Project. This will be followed by the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of
the society. |
